This fuel tank vent in mirror-polished stainless steel is designed with a 90° angled hose barb for a Ø 16 mm vent hose. It is intended for venting a boat's fuel tank and allows the hose to be routed along the bulkhead after the through-hull fitting.
The vent opening has an integrated flame arrestor that acts as a safety feature, as well as an integrated hose barb with ribs to secure the hose. The design is intended for through-hull or bulkhead mounting and includes a threaded through-hull part with a nut.
The vent is made of stainless steel with a mirror-polished surface. The total vertical dimension is 64.5 mm, while the horizontal extension is 56 mm. A dimension drawing also indicates the measurements 58 mm and 14.8 mm, but without further definition of their reference points.
The product is constructed according to the requirements of UNI EN ISO 21487 for permanently installed fuel tanks in small craft. Thread size, mounting hole, maximum bulkhead thickness, and included hose clamp are not specified and should therefore be clarified in relation to the specific installation.
