Portable gas stove for A4 gas cartridge from Bright Spark is a free-standing tabletop model with one burner, stainless steel casing, and an integrated cartridge compartment. The BS100S is designed for cooking on board, while camping, and in other places where a compact stove without a fixed gas installation is practical.
The stove provides 2000 W and uses a Butane Battery A4 gas cartridge with butane/LPG. The fuel consumption is 145 g/hour. One A4 cartridge provides approximately 90 minutes of operation at maximum power and up to 4 hours on the simmer setting. The gas cartridge is not included and must be purchased separately; the corresponding A4 spare cartridge has item no. 50.275.06 and is sold in packs of 4.
The integrated piezo ignition and the combined control knob make it possible to light the burner and regulate the heat without a separate lighter. The double-ring vortex burner supports a balanced mixture of gas and air, while the elevated pan support contributes to uniform heating. A protective collar around the flame helps stabilize the heat, but the stove must still be used protected from the wind.
The safety system includes a thermocouple with flame monitoring, pressure-sensitive gas shut-off, and a mechanism that can release the cartridge in an unsafe cartridge situation. The cartridge's collar and notch must be positioned correctly against the guide pin before the cartridge can be connected. Furthermore, the cartridge can only be activated when the reversible burner and drip tray are correctly installed.
The stove must stand freely on a flat, horizontal, and stable surface with good ventilation. Keep at least 20 cm distance to walls and at least 100 cm clear distance to the ceiling or shelf. Check the seals before connection and replace the cartridge in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors and away from ignition sources. Gas leaks must only be checked with soapy water and never with an open flame.
A hard plastic case is included for transport and storage. The case makes it easier to protect and store the stove on board or during transport, once the appliance has cooled down and the cartridge has been disconnected.
