The steps are coated with black plastic. The four lower steps are telescopic and can be tilted up above the waterline.
Avoid galvanic corrosion of your bridge ladder by installing an anode on the metals that need to be protected. Unfortunately, stainless steel (both AISI 304 and 316) is also exposed to galvanic corrosion. So use shaft anode Ø:32 mm item no. 1143324 if you want to protect your bridge ladder.
