This Bulgin Buccaneer flange-mounting socket with female contacts is a 2-pole, circular socket for fixed electrical installation through a panel, bulkhead, or enclosure. Model PX0757/S belongs to the Standard Buccaneer series and is designed for watertight connections in marine, outdoor, and industrial environments.
The socket features a circular mating interface in a square flange housing and is mounted with four screws. Rear connection is via screw terminals, and the nickel-plated brass contacts are factory-fitted. Threaded coupling and mechanical keying control orientation and prevent mis-mating.
The housing is manufactured from glass-filled polyamide and features a black body and black insert. The flange measures 44.5 × 44.5 mm, the total depth from the flange is 43 mm, and the diameter over the coupling ring is 38.1 mm. The four mounting holes are Ø3.8 mm with a horizontal and vertical center-to-center distance of 33.3 mm. A sealing gasket and sealing washers for the mounting screws are included as part of the flange construction.
The connection is IP68 rated when the socket is mated with a compatible plug, and the PX0757/S also has an IP69K rating. The included waterproof screw cap protects the open socket when the cable plug is disconnected. The operating temperature is from −20 °C to +70 °C.
The rated current is 10 A, and the maximum voltage is 277 V AC/DC. The socket is compatible with the 2-pole cable plug with item no. 14.350.02, identified as Bulgin PX0736/P, as well as relevant flexible cable plugs in the PX07 Standard Buccaneer series. The product is RINA type-approved and covered by CSA, UL, and VDE approvals. The construction has a UL94 HB flammability rating, and the cover solution is approved according to NATO military standards.
