Campingaz Powerbox Plus thermoelectric cooler with a 28-liter capacity is a portable cooler for 12 V DC and 230 V AC. It can be used in boats, cars, campers, caravans, while camping, and at home. The box accommodates upright 1.5-liter bottles and comes with cables for both 12 V and 230 V connection.
Cooling is performed by a thermoelectric Peltier system and fan. In MAX mode, the temperature can be maintained up to 20 °C ±1 °C below the ambient temperature at an ambient temperature of 32 °C. NIGHT reduces fan speed and noise, while ECO is intended for energy-saving operation. The product is not a compressor cooler, freezer, or solution for medical transport.
The operation selector has settings for OFF, ECO, MAX, and NIGHT. FreezeGuard automatically stops cooling when the internal temperature approaches 0 °C, so the contents do not freeze. BatteryGuard monitors the vehicle's battery and disconnects the cooling system if the voltage drops below 11.5 V. A green LED indicates normal cooling operation, while a red LED indicates that battery protection has interrupted cooling.
The cabinet and interior are made of polypropylene with polyurethane foam insulation in the cabinet and lid. Antimicrobial technology is integrated into the plastic material and resists odors, mold, and mildew growth. The lid has a click/lock closure, and the rotating, folding handle makes the box easier to transport.
