This folding gas hob with integrated sink from the CAN Foldy series is a rectangular hob/sink combination with a single gas burner. The compact design is intended for galleys and kitchen installations in boats and is also suitable for motorhomes and caravans.
The hob is hinged and can be folded down into the sink when not in use. This allows for combining cooking and dishwashing in one installation. A folding cold water tap and a tempered glass lid are integrated into the design.
The gas burner has a nominal output of 1750 W and a documented gas consumption of 127 g/h. The burner is a semi-rapid/SR burner and features flame failure protection with a thermocouple. The product is intended for LPG, butane, or propane at 28–30 mbar. Gas type and regulator pressure must always be checked against the unit's nameplate before installation.
The unit is made of polished AISI 304 stainless steel. The external dimensions are 350 mm in width, 320 mm in depth, and 180 mm in height. The gas connection is an 8 mm Hermeto/pipe connection, while the water connection has a 3/8" thread. The drain hole measures Ø 56 mm, and the drain is not included.
The optional pot holder, item no. 50.100.48, can be used for the single burner. Additionally, a drain with a Ø 70 mm grate from the 50.186 series can be selected depending on the desired outlet type and dimensions.
