CAN built-in stainless steel gas hob with tinted glass lid is an oval 2-burner model for installation in a worktop or kitchen module. The FC1348-S is designed for gas installations in boats, motorhomes, and vans, and features manual ignition without a built-in electric or piezoelectric ignition device.
The hob has an AISI 304 stainless steel base and a black, tinted tempered glass lid. The lid is self-locking and fitted with concealed hinges, allowing the cooking area to be covered when not in use. The pan supports have anti-vibration rubber bushings, which reduce movement and noise during sailing or driving.
The two burners provide 1000 W and 1750 W respectively, corresponding to a total nominal power of 2750 W. The hob features an auxiliary burner and a semi-rapid burner. A thermocouple-based flame failure device shuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out.
The external dimensions are 510 × 390 mm, and the installation depth is 80 mm. The stated internal dimension of 450 × 330 mm must not be used as the final cutout size without verifying the relevant installation drawing. The hob is secured with adhesive in accordance with the installation manual.
The gas connection consists of a smooth Ø8 mm steel pipe with at least 30 mm of free end for a compression fitting and rigid or flexible gas line. The model is intended for LPG from the third gas family. The required gas pressure depends on the gas and national gas category: G30 is used at 28–30 mbar, while G31 is used at 30 or 37 mbar depending on the installation category.
The maximum recommended pan diameter is Ø200 mm on the semi-rapid burner and Ø160 mm on the auxiliary burner. A double pan holder can be purchased as item no. 50.100.49, corresponding to CAN PV1371.
The hob is CE and UKCA marked. The FC1348 is covered by EU type-examination certificate 51CO4387 under EU Regulation 2016/426 on appliances burning gaseous fuels.
