This CAN stainless steel built-in gas hob with tinted glass lid is a round FC1345 model with one 1750 W semi-rapid gas burner. Its compact design is intended for recessed mounting in a countertop or worktop and is suitable for kitchen installations in boats, motorhomes, and campervans.
The hob is made of AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite finish. The black, tinted lid is made of tempered glass and features a self-supporting design with hidden hinges. The stainless steel pan support is equipped with vibration-damping rubber feet, which reduce movement and noise during sailing or driving.
The high-efficiency SR gas burner is ignited manually with an external ignition source. A thermocouple acts as a flame failure device and shuts off the gas supply if the flame is extinguished. The recommended pot or pan diameter for the burner is 160–220 mm.
The hob has an outer diameter of Ø 340 mm and requires a mounting cutout of Ø 300 mm. The installation depth is 80 mm. The gas connection is a smooth cylindrical stub of Ø 8 mm for a gas-tight press or compression fitting. The product is intended for LPG/GPL at 28–30 mbar, but the gas type and pressure must always be checked on the appliance's data plate before installation.
The installation site must have adequate ventilation, and the materials surrounding the appliance must be heat-resistant. There must be at least 650 mm of clearance above the pan support to any overhead cabinet or cooker hood. Gas installation, adjustment, and service must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable national regulations and the supplied installation manual.
The burner cap and flame spreader can be removed for regular cleaning. Stainless steel parts should be cleaned with warm soapy water, while steam cleaning should be avoided. Saltwater and corrosive food residues should be removed promptly to protect the surface.
