This combined gas hob and sink with smoked tempered glass lids from CAN is a built-in FL1766 unit with two gas burners, a sink on the left, and a cooking area on the right. It is designed for compact galley and kitchen installations in boats, motorhomes, campervans, and caravans, and comes with a hot/cold water mixer tap.
The two gas burners have a nominal output of 1,000 W and 1,750 W respectively, totaling 2,750 W. The burner configuration consists of an auxiliary burner (AUX) and a semi-rapid burner (SR). Mechanical piezo ignition makes electrical connection unnecessary, while a thermocouple flame failure device shuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out. The unit is intended for LPG from the third gas family, including butane G30 and propane G31; gas type and pressure must always correspond to the appliance's data plate.
The base is made of AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin-brushed Scotch-Brite finish. The cooking area features a chrome-plated wire grid with anti-vibration bushings. Two separate smoked tempered glass lids cover the sink and hob respectively, allowing the two areas to be opened and used independently. Concealed hinges contribute to a flush and compact installation when the lids are closed. The glass lids must not be used as a general work surface or loaded with hot objects.
The external dimensions are 765 × 355 mm, and the specified installation depth is 150 mm. Below the cooking area, the height is 48 mm, while 150 mm is required under the sink. The stated internal dimension is 716 × 340 mm, but this measurement should not be used as the final cutout dimension without checking the provided installation drawing. The unit has a Ø 33.5 mm hole for the tap and a Ø 54 mm drain hole, as well as a gas connection via an Ø 8 mm galvanized steel pipe with a 1 mm wall thickness.
The unit must be mounted horizontally indoors on a stable, heat-resistant, and fire-retardant surface. The installation site must have sufficient permanent ventilation, as the unit does not have an integrated system for extracting combustion gases. It is not intended for unprotected outdoor use. The gas connection must be carried out by a qualified professional.
A hot/cold water mixer tap and fixing kit are included. The drain and pan support must be ordered separately. Compatible accessories include pan support 50.100.49, 90° side drain 50.186.98, and straight drain 50.186.99.
The FL1766 is a class 3 gas appliance and is CE and UKCA marked. The unit complies with EU Regulation 2016/426/EU as well as standards EN 30-1-1:2008 + A3:2013 and EN 30-2-1:2015.
