Carling Contura II illuminated rocker switch ON-OFF, 12 V – white bulbs

Carling Contura II illuminated marine rocker switch is a panel-mounted ON-OFF switch with maintained positions and illumination for 12 V installations. This variant has four terminals and white bulbs and can be used as a general switch for electrical consumers.

The switch has two separate light functions. One illuminates the symbol constantly so that the switch can be located in the dark. The other functions as a status light and illuminates the field below the symbol when the connected consumer is activated.

The switch housing is rated to IP56 and is mounted with a snap-in attachment in a rectangular panel cutout of 21.5 × 36.8 mm. The outer contour of the Contura II format is 25 × 49 × 39 mm. The switch is intended for a maximum load of 20 A at 12 V or 15 A at 24 V.

Rocker/actuator with illuminated symbol is not included and must be ordered separately. The switch fits separate Contura symbol rockers in the 14.193.xx and 14.194.xx families. Panel frames in the 14.197.xx family can be used for single mounting or for building a complete switch panel.

For installation, the connection must be carried out according to the variant-specific terminal diagram, as the four terminals include both switch and lighting functions.
