This Carling Contura II illuminated rocker switch is a panel-mount (ON)-OFF switch for 24 V installations. The ON position is spring-loaded, so the switch automatically returns to OFF when released. The momentary function is suitable for short-term activation of, for example, horns and marine toilets.
The switch features red 24 V LED illumination. On this momentary variant, the LED indicator lights up while the connected load is activated. The maximum current is 15 A at 24 V, and connection is made via four terminals.
The ingress protection rating is IP56, making the switch suitable for exposed marine installations. It is mounted in a rectangular panel cutout of 21.5 × 36.8 mm. The symbol rocker or actuator itself is not included and must be selected and ordered separately.
For horns, symbol rockers with item no. 14.194.03, 14.193.63, 14.193.33, or 14.193.03 can be selected, among others. For toilet pumps, symbol rockers are available with item no. 14.193.93 and 14.193.83. This selection makes it possible to adapt the switch's symbol and surface to the specific function and panel design.
The switch can be mounted in a single frame or as part of a multi-position panel. Documented frame components include black variants with item no. 14.197.03, 14.197.01, 14.197.02, and 14.197.04, as well as white variants with item no. 14.197.63, 14.197.61, 14.197.62, and 14.197.64.
