This Carling Contura rocker switch is a panel-mounted 12 V switch with an OFF-(ON) switching function. The ON position is momentary, meaning the switch automatically returns to OFF when the rocker is released. It is suitable for horns and other equipment that should only be activated while the switch is held down.
The switch has a maximum current capacity of 20 A at 12 V and is equipped with 2 terminals. The integrated indicator light makes the switch's status visible, while the rocker or actuator is included as part of the complete switch.
The IP56 rating provides protection against dust and powerful water jets, making the switch suitable for exposed electrical installations. It is mounted in a panel through a 21 × 37 mm rectangular cutout.
For building integrated switch panels, separate frame parts are available for Carling switches: single frame 14.197.63 in white or 14.197.03 in black, center insert 14.197.61 or 14.197.01, and end insert 14.197.62 or 14.197.02. The parts are not included.
