Carling Technologies Contura II illuminated rocker switch with ON-ON contact function and 2 red LEDs is designed for panel mounting in 12 V electrical systems. Both contact positions are stable, and the switch can be used to control the same lamp or lighting circuit from two different locations.
The dual illumination has two separate functions. One LED illuminates the symbol on the selected rocker and can be kept constantly on so that the switch is easy to find in the dark. The other LED illuminates the indicator slot below the symbol when the connected function is activated.
The switch has an IP56 protection rating and a maximum contact load of 20 A at 12 V. This makes it suitable for panel installations in maritime environments where protection against dust and water splashes is required.
Mounting requires a rectangular panel cutout of 21.5 × 36.8 mm. The rocker or actuator itself with the symbol is not included and must be ordered separately. A compatible Contura II rocker can be chosen according to the desired symbol, finish, and application, including variants in the 14.193.xx and 14.194.xx series.
The switch is supplied as a switch unit without an integrated application symbol. This makes it possible to customize the control panel for the specific function by choosing a separate rocker with the desired symbol.
