This Carling Technologies Contura II panel-mount rocker switch is a 12 V DC switch with ON-OFF-(ON) switching functionality and two red LEDs. It is intended for operating bilge pumps with automatic and manual functions.
The ON position is maintained, OFF is the center position, and the (ON) position is momentary with spring return. The switch is single-pole, has four terminals, and can handle a load of up to 20 A at 12 V.
The two LEDs have individual functions. One illuminates the symbol on the separately ordered rocker actuator and can be permanently lit so the switch can be located in the dark. The other illuminates the indicator lens below the symbol and turns on when the connected function is activated.
The switch has an IP56 protection rating and is mounted in a rectangular panel cutout of 21.5 × 36.8 mm. With the rocker actuator installed, the approximate installation dimensions are 49 mm in height and 25 mm in width, with approximately 39 mm of depth behind the front panel. The rocker actuator is not included.
Rocker actuators and panel frames
For the bilge pump function, you can choose between rocker actuators 14.193.07, 14.193.37, 14.193.67, and 14.194.07. Black panel frames and panel components are available as 14.197.03, 14.197.01, 14.197.02, and 14.197.04. Corresponding white parts are available as 14.197.63, 14.197.61, 14.197.62, and 14.197.64.
