This Carling Technologies Contura II panel rocker switch is a 24 V DC switch with an ON-OFF-(ON) function, two red LEDs, and four terminals. It is designed for installation in a boat's electrical control panel and for operating a bilge pump with automatic and manual functions.
The switch has three positions. ON is a maintained active position, OFF is the center position, and (ON) is a momentary active position with spring return. This combination allows for selecting a continuous function or activating the momentary function as needed.
The two red LEDs each serve a specific purpose. One provides constant backlighting for the symbol when connected, allowing the switch to be located in the dark. The other functions as a status indicator below the symbol and illuminates when the connected function is activated.
The switch is IP56 rated and handles a maximum current of 15 A at 24 V. It is installed as a snap-in component in a rectangular panel cutout measuring 21.5 × 36.8 mm.
The rocker actuator with functional symbol is not included and must be ordered separately. For bilge pump operation, available rocker actuators include 14.193.07, 14.193.37, 14.193.67, and 14.194.07. Symbol alternatives for other bilge pump setups include 14.193.10, 14.193.40, 14.194.10, 14.193.80, and 14.193.90.
The switch can be mounted individually or as part of a modular switch panel. Compatible panel parts include frames 14.197.03 and 14.197.63, center pieces 14.197.01 and 14.197.61, end pieces 14.197.02 and 14.197.62, as well as blanking plugs 14.197.04 and 14.197.64.
