This CEE shore power plug, male, is a straight, cable-mounted Mennekes AM-TOP 290 connector for quay and shore power connections. The plug is 3-pole and rated for 32 A at 230 V AC with a rated frequency of 50–60 Hz.
The earthing contact is positioned at 6 h, and the plug is designed with a standard contact without phase inverter or pilot contact. It is intended for compatible 32 A CEE connections with 3 poles according to DIN EN IEC 60309-2.
Conductor connection is made using screw terminals for conductor cross-sections of 2.5–6 mm². The cable entry features a gland with a seal as well as an integrated strain relief and kink protection. It allows for a cable diameter of up to 22 mm. Recommended stripping length is 50 mm for the cable sheath and 12–17 mm for the conductors.
The plug housing is made of blue PA6, while the bayonet ring is made of gray PC/PET. The plug has a total length of 186 mm and a maximum diameter of 94 mm. The permanent ambient temperature may range from −25 °C to +40 °C.
The IP67 enclosure protects the connection against dust and water and is watertight when submerged down to 1 m. The product is CE-marked and also has CB, VDE, EAC, and CQC approvals. It complies with the RoHS requirements of 2011/65/EU including 2015/863/EU as well as EU Regulation 2019/1021.
A protective cap with manufacturer number 40841 and a lockable plug lock with manufacturer number 41416 can be used as separate accessories. Protective cap and plug lock are not included. The corresponding 3-pole female variant with cover, 32 A and IP67, has item no. 14.336.12.
