This water pump impeller for Mercury/Mariner outboard motors is a CEF aftermarket spare part for the engine's cooling water pump. The impeller circulates cooling water through the cooling system and replaces Mercury/Mariner reference 47-42038.
The impeller has six long neoprene blades and a plastic hub. The design is a high-volume/long-vane type and measures 13 mm in internal shaft diameter, 58.8 mm in external diameter, and 11.7 mm in width. The hub is key-driven, allowing the engine's pump shaft to transfer rotation to the impeller.
Primary compatibility includes Mercury and Mariner outboard motors with standard gear housings: 2-stroke engines of 6, 8, 10, and 15 HP, as well as 4-stroke engines of 9.9 and 15 HP. Compatibility also depends on the model year, gear housing, and serial number. Gaskets and keys are not stated as included.
