This CEM SBR self-priming single-screw bronze pump is an electric 24 V DC marine pump with a power rating of 0.55 kW. The pump is designed for emptying and transporting sewage and blackwater, as well as pumping particularly viscous liquids with minor solid particles in suspension.
The pumping principle consists of a helical rotor rotating inside an elastic NBR stator. This design provides a maximum free capacity of 50 l/min at 0 m head. With increasing head, the pump delivers 40 l/min at 10 m, 38 l/min at 20 m, 35 l/min at 30 m, 30 l/min at 40 m, and 25 l/min at the maximum head of 50 m.
The pump housing is made of bronze, while the shaft and rotor are manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel. The stator is made of NBR rubber, and the coupling consists of AISI 316 stainless steel and NBR. The mechanical shaft seal is made of ceramic, graphite, and NBR with a corrosion-resistant design.
The permanent magnet motor operates at 1,400 rpm and has a current draw of 20 A. The motor is rated for continuous duty, S1, with an enclosure class of IP44 and insulation class F. The permissible liquid temperature is 0 to +70 °C, the maximum suction depth is 6 m, and the pump housing withstands a maximum static pressure load of 6 bar.
The pump measures approximately 500 mm in length, 160 mm in width, and 190 mm in total height. The suction and discharge ports both have 1" Gas/BSP threads and are positioned vertically on the top of the pump housing with 120 mm between the port centers. Mounting is performed through four Ø8 mm holes; the hole spacing across is 125 mm, and the motor foot dimension is 100 mm.
The product weight is 15 kg. For the SBR series, a non-return valve and an omega-shaped stainless steel base with vibration dampers are available; these parts are not documented as included.
