This Clever composite and stainless steel deck filler is the WATER variant for filling the boat's fresh water tank. The straight hose connector has a diameter of 38 mm and is intended for connecting a 38 mm hose.
The housing is made of technopolymer, while the integrated cap is made of mirror-polished stainless steel. The flush design provides a low profile of 8.5 mm above the mounting surface. The cap has an overall diameter of 92 mm, and the flange measures 88 mm in diameter.
The cap opens quickly with a quarter turn. A flexible retaining strap connects the cap to the housing, keeping the cap secured during filling. The retaining strap can be replaced if damaged.
The WATER marking is complemented by a blue, star-shaped identification element on the inside. This provides a discreet but clear visual identification of the fresh water connection. The connection is a straight hose tail without a specified thread.
The filler is mounted to the deck via three evenly spaced mounting holes. The mounting holes are located on a bolt circle with a diameter of 74 mm, while the depth below the cap head is 80 mm. The Clever series received an ADI Design and Innovation Award in 2018.
