Climavision Mare blackout blind in white is designed for quick retrofitting under a deck hatch or in front of a porthole. This variant has dimensions A = 360 mm and B = 400 mm and fits a maximum clear opening of 330 × 330 mm.
The blackout polyester fabric provides complete darkness at night. The outside of the fabric is silver-metallized to reflect sunlight during the day.
The blind is constructed with an epoxy-coated aluminum frame and stainless steel springs. The combination of materials provides a lightweight construction with corrosion-resistant springs for maritime use.
Installation can be completed in seconds without modifications to the existing deck hatch or porthole. The dimensions 360 × 400 mm describe the A and B dimensions of the blind, while 330 × 330 mm is the maximum compatible clear opening.
