Climavision Mare blackout blind for deck hatches and portholes is a white screen with an A-dimension of 450 mm and a B-dimension of 500 mm. This variant is intended for deck hatches or portholes with a maximum clear opening of 410 × 410 mm.
The blackout fabric is made of polyester and has a silver-metallized outer side. The design provides full blackout at night, while the metallized side reflects sunlight during the day and reduces direct solar radiation through the hatch or porthole.
The blind is equipped with an epoxy-coated aluminum frame and stainless steel springs. This combination of materials provides a stable construction for use on the boat's deck hatch or porthole.
Installation is performed under the deck hatch or in front of the porthole and requires no modification to the existing hatch or porthole fitting. The blind can therefore be installed quickly, provided the dimensions and clear opening match the installation.
