Climavision Mare blackout blind is a white blind measuring 550 × 650 mm for mounting under deck hatches or in front of portholes and portlights. It is designed for a maximum clear light opening of 510 × 550 mm.
The blackout polyester fabric ensures complete darkness at night. The outer side of the fabric is silver-metallized to reflect sunlight during the day and limit solar heat gain through the hatch or porthole.
The blind is constructed with an epoxy-coated aluminum frame and stainless steel springs. This combination provides a corrosion-resistant construction suitable for the maritime environment.
Installation is carried out quickly under the existing deck hatch or in front of a porthole or portlight without modifying the hatch or opening itself. Check both the clear light opening and the required installation space in relation to the blind's width and total vertical dimensions.
