Coastlight self-inflating liferaft in soft bag is a 12-person liferaft designed for leisure vessels and navigation up to 12 nautical miles from the coast. The raft is supplied packed in a portable soft bag with handles, making it easy to stow on board and handle when needed.
The raft is equipped with water pockets for stability at sea, as well as a boarding ladder. The packed raft has approximate dimensions of 68 × 29 × 35 cm and a product weight of 44 kg. These dimensions apply to the raft in its soft bag and are not the dimensions of the raft when inflated.
The safety equipment includes a sea anchor with line, a lifebuoy with line, two floating paddles, a floating knife with pocket, a bailer, two sponges, a whistle, a repair kit, and a manual pump. Also included are instructions for immediate action, 12 seasickness bags, and a waterproof flashlight with battery and spare light.
The raft's drinking water capacity is 0.250 liters per person, totaling 3 liters for this 12-person model. The equipment and construction are adapted for documented use in coastal navigation up to 12 nautical miles from the coast.
The product complies with D.M. 29/07/2008 and D.D. 02/03/2009 and is covered by Italian type-approval decree no. 149/2020 for the Coastal Light 12P model. The flag compliance is Italy. For use under other flag states or national regulations, applicable requirements should be checked prior to purchase.
The first service must be carried out 3 years after the initial packing. Thereafter, the raft must be serviced every 2 years from the date of the previous service. Adherence to service intervals is essential to maintain the raft’s readiness and certified status.
