This Columbus rope protector is a removable sleeve that attaches around the rope to reduce chafing and friction. It is designed for ropes with a diameter of up to 20 mm.
The protector is made of Cordura 1680 and measures 400 × 150 mm. The design covers a specific area of the rope, protecting it from wear where it is subject to repeated friction.
An integrated elastic section and hook-and-loop fastener keep the protector in place around the rope. The fastener allows the protector to be attached and removed without a separate mounting kit.
