The COLUMBUS padded lifelines cover wraps around the boat's guardrail wire or lifeline and protects against friction. The soft padding also provides greater comfort when leaning against the guardrail.
This version measures Ø64 × 600 mm and is blue. The 64 mm diameter is the product's nominal, stated diameter and does not indicate a documented maximum diameter for the wire or line that the protector is mounted around.
The construction includes UV-resistant 600 DEN fabric, Cordura 1680, and an internal lining of soft foam. The materials are intended for the exposed location at the boat's guardrail, while the foam lining creates a padded contact surface.
Installation is done by wrapping the protector around the wire or line. An internal Velcro strip holds it in place around the guardrail, while an external Velcro strip closes and secures the cover itself.
