The Comet line thrower complete is a single-shot line thrower for safe line transfer during rescue operations and maneuvers where long range (min. 250 m) is required.
The line thrower can be stowed in lockers on the bridge or placed strategically in multiple locations on board. SOLAS typically requires four units to be carried on board (depending on vessel and requirements).
