This Cruiser 3-pole shore power plug is a cable-mount connector for a 16 A, 230 V marine shore power cable. It is used to connect the shore power cable to a boat-mounted Cruiser 3P 16 A shore power inlet.
The plug body is made of blue PA6 nylon and features an ergonomic grip, which makes it easier to handle during connection and disconnection. The contacts are designed for efficient power transmission, while the cable gland and strain relief at the rear ensure convenient cable assembly. The plug is rated for cables with conductor cross-sections of 3 × 1.5 mm² or 3 × 2.5 mm².
A rotating locking ring mechanically secures the plug in the Cruiser inlet. When connected and locked, a watertight connection with IP67 protection is achieved. In the disconnected state, the attached rubber cap protects the contact end with IP44 ingress protection.
The plug has an overall length of 140 mm and is intended for marine shore power connection in outdoor environments. The design complies with the European safety standard IEC 60309-5.
