This Cruiser shore power kit for boats is a complete solution for connecting a boat's 220 V AC installation to a shore power pedestal. The kit is rated for 16 A and comes with a white Cruiser boat inlet, a pre-wired electrical panel, and a 15 m shore power cable.
The three-pole Cruiser boat inlet is made of white PA6 nylon in both the lid and base and is intended for permanent mounting, typically in the cockpit. The plug is secured with a rotating locking ring. When the plug and inlet are assembled and locked, the Cruiser connection is rated IP67 and marked according to IEC 60309-5.
The included electrical panel, item no. 14.737.16, is a pre-wired 16 A panel for 230 V. The panel features a compact white ABS box with a waterproof cover, IP65 protection, a residual current circuit breaker, a magnetothermal automatic fuse, and a Schuko socket with a protective cap. A fixed 3 m 3G cable is included for the connection between the boat inlet and the panel, which is intended for mounting below deck.
The shore power cable, item no. 14.416.25, is 15 m long and rated for 16 A. The cable has a conductor cross-section of 3 × 2.5 mm² and an outer diameter of 11.2 mm. The boat side has a Cruiser plug, while the pedestal side is equipped with a three-pole 16 A male plug, item no. 14.335.01.
The shore plug is made of UV-stabilized polycarbonate and has IP44 protection, a cable gland, and integrated strain relief. The individual components therefore have different IP ratings: the Cruiser connection is IP67 when assembled and locked, the electrical panel is IP65, and the shore plug is IP44. The system also features the NO TOOL installation marking.
