This nylon/fiberglass deck filler is intended as a filling point for fuel tanks on marine vessels. The white housing is equipped with a red cap featuring a fuel symbol, making the function of the filling point easy to identify.
The cap is screwed in to close the filler. A small chain connects the removable cap to the housing and helps prevent the cap from being lost during refueling.
