This diesel decanting filter with transparent bowl is intended for the filtration and decanting of diesel fuel. The filter has an optimal flow rate of 130 l/h and a maximum flow rate of 400 l/h.
The filter housing is made of die-cast aluminium, while the clear bowl is made of polycarbonate. The transparent design allows for visual inspection of the bowl's contents. A drain plug at the bottom is used for draining the bowl.
The diesel fuel is filtered through a washable stainless steel mesh filter with a filtration degree of 200 µm. The washable filter element can be cleaned and reused as part of ongoing maintenance.
The stated dimensions of the filter are 150 × 80 mm, and the projection is 65 mm. The connection is MB 14, corresponding to the connection system with M14 × 1.5 thread used by the documented separate fittings.
The replacement cartridge has item no. 17.639.01. For an 8 mm fuel hose, fitting 17.660.02 or connection kit 17.638.02 can be used. For a 10 mm fuel hose, fitting 17.660.03 or connection kit 17.638.03 can be used. Fittings and connection kits are separate accessories.
