All DL trailer winches are TUFFPLATE zinc treated as standard. The zinc treated yellow chrome salt "TUFFPLATE" design is 3 times more resistant than normal zinc treated winches and is 30% more resistant to corrosion. All winches without a return brake allow the wheel to freewheel when the pawl is not engaged.
