The heavy duty models have a reversible pawl that allows cables and straps to be pulled up clockwise or counterclockwise.
All DL trailer winches are TUFFPLATE zinc treated as standard. The zinc treated yellow chrome salt “TUFFPLATE” design is 3 times more resistant than normal zinc treated winches and is 30% more resistant to corrosion. All winches without a return brake allow the wheel to freewheel when the pawl is not engaged.
