This double female-to-female antenna coupler is a straight coaxial adapter for connecting or extending antenna cables in maritime VHF installations.
The coupler is designed as a PL-258 connection with female connectors at both ends. It connects two pre-terminated cable ends with compatible PL-259 male plugs, thereby providing a continuous coaxial antenna connection.
The straight inline design has two connection sides and functions as an adapter between plugs. It is not intended for direct mounting on an unterminated coaxial cable.
The assembly can be supplemented with the compatible waterproof connector protector, item no. 29.138.00. The protector encloses the connection, but the antenna coupler itself is not documented as waterproof without this protection.
