Dometic CK 2000 activated carbon filter is a replacement filter for the CK 2000 recirculation extractor hood. The pack contains two filters and is intended as an original spare part for the hood's air recirculation system.
The activated carbon reduces odors from cooking air before the air is returned to the living area through the hood's vents. The many small pores of the filter medium form a fine filter, the effectiveness of which gradually decreases as the pores become clogged.
The filter is placed in the hood's filter holder in connection with the grease filter. When replacing, the cover and the filter holder are removed, after which the old filter is taken out. The new filter is inserted into the holder, which is clicked into place before the cover is mounted again.
The filter fits Dometic CK 2000 recirculation extractor hoods, including the documented black and silver variants. The CK 2000 system is used in boats, caravans, and motorhomes, where recirculation makes it possible to filter cooking air without a traditional exhaust duct.
