This Dometic compressor cooling drawer with a stainless steel front from the CoolMatic CD series is the CD 20S model with a 20-litre storage capacity and 12/24 V DC operation. The drawer format and compact height make the refrigerator suitable for installation in boats, motorhomes, caravans, vans, and special-purpose vehicles where available space is limited.
The fully hermetic compressor with integrated control electronics provides a temperature range from 0 °C to +15 °C. The temperature is set using a continuously adjustable thermostat. The system features low-voltage protection, an electronic fuse, and automatic reverse polarity protection. The nominal power is 36 W, and the current consumption is 3 A at 12 V or 1.5 A at 24 V.
The drawer runs on smooth-running slides and has a locking mechanism that can be unlocked and opened in one motion. The front is made of stainless steel, while the refrigerator has a robust metal housing, injection-moulded drawer components, and PU foam around the cooling compartment. The colour scheme consists of a black cabinet with a stainless, silver-coloured front.
The cooling drawer measures 438 mm in width, 250 mm in height, and 565 mm in depth when the cooling unit is in the standard position. In case of limited installation depth, the cooling unit can be placed to the left or right of the drawer or up to 1.5 m away. This reduces the required depth of the drawer to 422 mm. The installation site must be well-ventilated and protected from direct heat and sunlight.
The cooling system uses 38 g of R134a in a hermetically sealed cooling circuit. It is designed for ambient temperatures from +16 °C to +32 °C, up to 90% relative humidity, and a permanent inclination of up to 30°. There is no separate freezer compartment.
The current manufacturer part number is 9620000723, which replaces the former number 9600008370. A stainless steel mounting frame is available separately under item no. 50.913.40 or manufacturer no. 9105303901. For mains operation, separate power adapters can be used: EPS 100, manufacturer no. 9600000440, or MPS 35, manufacturer no. 9600000445.
