This Dometic CoolMatic NRX S compressor refrigerator with stainless steel front is model NRX 115S for installation in boats, motorhomes, and caravans. The refrigerator operates on 12/24 V DC and has a nominal capacity of 116 l when the removable freezer compartment is removed. With the freezer compartment installed, the total capacity is 113 l, distributed between a 104.5 l refrigerator compartment and an 8.2 l freezer compartment.
The flexible 3-in-1 cooling allows the unit to be used as a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, as a larger refrigerator without a freezer compartment, or in freezer mode for the entire cabinet. The refrigerator temperature can be set from 0 °C to +12 °C, the freezer compartment operates from −15 °C to −5 °C, and the freezer mode for the entire cabinet is −6 °C. The compressor has Eco, Boost/Performance, and Silent modes, allowing operation to be adjusted according to the need for energy consumption, rapid cooling, or reduced noise.
Operation is via an internal touch panel with an integrated LED light bar. The interior includes two vegetable drawers, shelves, a bottle holder, and door shelves. The freezer compartment can be removed completely, and the documented replacement shelf with item no. 9620012932 can be used instead. The freezer compartment as a spare part has item no. 9620012937.
The frameless door and the integrated full-width handle are made of SUS 316 stainless steel. The door is reversible for right or left opening, and the door lock has a ventilation/winter position that maintains an air gap between the door and the cabinet when the refrigerator is not in use. The beveled back of the cabinet contributes to efficient use of installation space.
The refrigerator measures 525 × 745 × 568 mm in W × H × D and has a net weight of 25 kg. The recommended installation opening is 537–539 mm wide and 754–756 mm high. A minimum ventilation clearance of 50 mm must be ensured in the specified airflow zones. For standard or flush mounting, the separate frame with item no. 50.908.09 can be used. The unit requires 12/24 V DC; operation from 100–240 V AC requires a separate power supply such as the DPS-R 135 with item no. 9620013449.
Energy consumption is 0.3671 kWh per 24 hours, and noise emission is 40–45 dB(A). The EMEA variant uses 40 g of R134a refrigerant and is designed for ambient temperatures from +16 °C to +43 °C, corresponding to climate class T. Installation must be performed with proper ventilation and cable sizing; the recommended fuse is 15 A at both 12 V and 24 V.
