This Dometic NRX C compressor refrigerator with dark silver front is model NRX 130C for installation in boats, motorhomes, caravans, and trucks. The model has a nominal capacity of 130 l and a standardized total volume of 126 l according to IEC 62552-3. The refrigerator operates on 12/24 V DC and is intended for indoor installation in a piece of furniture or an installation niche.
The flexible 3-in-1 cooling function allows the unit to be used as a refrigerator, freezer, or as a combined fridge/freezer. The removable freezer compartment holds 8.2 l and can be removed when the entire volume of the cabinet is to be utilized. The refrigerator compartment can be set from 0 to +12 °C, while the freezer compartment operates from −15 to −5 °C. In full-freezer mode, the temperature is −6 °C. The freezer compartment is intended for the storage of already frozen food, ice cream, and ice cubes, but not for rapid freezing of fresh food.
The interior includes adjustable shelves, a bottle holder, a door shelf, and two fresh food/vegetable drawers. A flush-mounted touch panel provides access to the controls, and the integrated LED light bar illuminates the interior. The door has an integrated full-width handle and is reversible for right or left-hand hinging.
The compact compressor has three operating modes: Eco for reduced energy consumption, Boost/Performance for higher cooling performance, and Silent/Quiet for reduced noise. The nominal input power is 70 W, and the noise emission is 40–45 dB(A) measured according to EN 60704. The battery protection cuts out at 10.4 V on a 12 V system and at 22.8 V on a 24 V system, and reconnects at 11.7 V and 24.2 V, respectively. A 15 A fuse is recommended for both 12 V and 24 V.
The refrigerator measures 525 mm in width, 812 mm in height, and 568 mm in depth. The recommended installation opening is 537–539 mm wide and 821–823 mm high. Ventilation paths behind and above the unit must be designed with at least 50 mm of clearance according to the installation layout. Condensation can be drained through the included drain elbow. A mounting frame for standard or flush installation is purchased separately; frame with item no. 50.907.11 is specifically intended for this variant.
The dual-function latches hold the door closed while sailing or driving and can simultaneously keep it ajar during longer periods of disuse. The ventilation position helps to air out the cabinet and counteract odors and mold. The refrigerator must be protected from rain, direct water splashes, and heat sources, and must not be placed on an open deck for marine installations. Ventilation openings must not be blocked, as insufficient air circulation reduces cooling performance.
The delivery includes the refrigerator, a drain elbow for condensation, a quick start guide, and installation instructions. The Dometic UFM 130SB with manufacturer part no. 9620012883 is an alternative black universal frame for the NRX 130. The power adapter DPS-R 135 with item no. 50.820.10 can be used for connection via 100–240 V AC.
