This Dometic NRX 35C compressor refrigerator with dark silver front is a compact 3-in-1 cooling solution for installation in boats, motorhomes, caravans, and trucks. It can be used as a combined refrigerator and freezer, as a refrigerator with the freezer compartment removed, or with the entire cabinet in freezer mode.
The removable freezer compartment holds 4.4 l, while the refrigerator compartment holds 27.3 l. The total volume is 32 l with the freezer compartment installed and 34 l when removed. The freezer compartment can both be removed and reinstalled so that the layout can be adapted to current needs.
The interior touch panel features an integrated LED light bar, five cooling levels, and compressor and error indicators. The energy-efficient compressor has variable speed and three operating programs. The refrigerator runs on 12/24 V DC, has a rated input power of 50 W, and a documented energy consumption of 0.28 kWh per 24 hours at 5/25 °C.
The frameless door has an integrated handle across the entire width of the door and can be hinged on either the right or left side. The door latch functions as both a secure closure and a ventilation position, allowing the door to be left ajar when the refrigerator is not in use. Inside, there are two vegetable drawers, shelves, a bottle holder, and door storage.
The refrigerator measures 380 × 525 × 480 mm with the compressor mounted. On this NRX 35C variant, the compressor can be remote-mounted up to 1.3 m from the cabinet, reducing the cabinet depth to 355 mm. The required installation opening is 392–394 mm in width and 534–536 mm in height. The installation must have a clear ventilation path of at least 50 mm, and the installation diagram specifies a 15 A fuse for both 12 V and 24 V.
The refrigerator's temperature range is 0 °C to 12 °C, while the freezer compartment operates from −15 °C to −5 °C. When the entire cabinet is used as a freezer, the temperature is −6 °C. The product is intended for indoor installation and operates at ambient temperatures from 16 °C to 43 °C. In boats, it must be installed in an interior cabin or living area and not on an open deck.
The cooling system uses 24 g of R134a refrigerant. Noise emission is 40–45 dB(A), and the product complies with standards including ECE R10, eMark, and EMC. Volume is specified according to IEC 62552-3, the climate class is T according to EN 62552, and noise is measured according to EN 60704.
Mounting and accessories
Mounting frame not included. Mounting frame with item no. 50.907.03 is documented for NRX 35/50 with dark silver front and can be used for standard or flush mounting.
