This Dometic NRX compressor refrigerator with a stainless steel front is the NRX 60S model, designed for installation in boats, motorhomes, caravans, and trucks. It operates on 12/24 V DC and has a maximum cooling capacity of 58 l when the removable freezer compartment is removed.
The 3-in-1 cooling solution allows the cabinet to be used as a combined refrigerator and freezer, as a refrigerator only with extra space, or as a full freezer. With the freezer compartment installed, the total volume is 55 l, divided into 48.9 l for the refrigerator compartment and 6.1 l for the freezer compartment. The freezer compartment is intended for pre-frozen food, ice cream, and ice cube production, but not for flash-freezing fresh goods.
The internal touch panel features an integrated LED light bar and provides access to the compressor's three operating modes: Eco, Boost/Performance, and Silent. The compressor system has variable speed, integrated control electronics, low-voltage protection, and automatic reverse polarity protection. The nominal power consumption is 55 W, while the energy consumption is 0.31 kWh per 24 hours under the specified test conditions.
The front panel is made of SUS316 stainless steel, while the internal shelves and brackets are made of SUS304 stainless steel. The refrigerator has two vegetable bins, shelves, a bottle holder, and a door shelf. The integrated handle runs the full width of the door, and the reversible door can be hinged on either the left or right side. The ventilation/winter position keeps the door slightly ajar during prolonged periods of inactivity, helping to ventilate the cabinet.
The refrigerator measures 448 mm in width, 525 mm in height, and 537 mm in depth, and has a net weight of 17 kg. The required cabinet opening is 460–462 mm wide and 534–536 mm high. At least 50 mm of free airflow must be ensured at the ventilation areas, as insufficient ventilation can reduce cooling performance and service life. The product is intended for indoor installation and must not be installed on an open deck.
Standard mounting and flush mounting are supported with the separate universal frame, item no. 50.908.05 / manufacturer no. 9620012881. For operation from 100–240 V AC, the power adapter with item no. 50.820.10 / manufacturer no. 9620013449 can be used. Manufacturer no. 9600051674 replaces the Dometic CoolMatic CRX 65S with manufacturer no. 9105306569.
