Dometic NRX C compressor refrigerator with dark silver front in model NRX0080C is a built-in model for boats, motorhomes, campervans, caravans, and trucks. The removable freezer compartment provides a flexible 3-in-1 solution: combined fridge and freezer, refrigerator with extra space after removing the freezer compartment, or freezer operation for the entire cabinet. Total volume is 75 l with the freezer compartment installed and 78 l without the freezer compartment.
The refrigerator compartment holds 68.4 l, while the removable freezer compartment holds 6.6 l. The interior includes cabinet shelves, a bottle holder, a door shelf, and two vegetable drawers. The frameless, reversible door features an integrated full-width handle and a locking mechanism that can keep the door slightly ajar for ventilation during storage. An internal, flush-mounted touch panel with an LED light bar is used for operation.
The compact compressor runs on 12/24 V DC and has a nominal power input of 55 W. Eco, Boost/Performance, and Silent/Sleep modes allow prioritizing energy consumption, fast cooling, or lower noise, respectively. Energy consumption is 0.33 kWh per 24 hours at DC and test conditions of 5/25 °C. The battery protection cuts out at 10.4 V and reconnects at 11.7 V on a 12 V system; on a 24 V system, the values are 22.8 V and 24.2 V. The installation must be fused with 15 A, and the cable cross-section must be sized according to voltage and total cable length.
The refrigerator measures 475 mm in width, 625 mm in height, and 537 mm in depth and has a net weight of 20 kg. It is intended for installation in furniture or an installation niche with an opening of 487–489 mm in width and 634–636 mm in height. Adequate air circulation must be ensured with at least 50 mm of free space in the relevant ventilation duct. The unit must be mounted level, and the condensate drain must be connected and routed downwards via the supplied drain elbow.
The refrigerator's temperature range is 0 to 12 °C, and the freezer compartment operates from −15 to −5 °C. During freezer operation in the entire cabinet, the temperature is approximately −6 °C. The unit is intended for an ambient temperature of 16 to 43 °C and uses 32 g of R134a refrigerant. Noise emission is 40–45 dB(A). The model is certified according to CB, eMark, and EMC and complies with UN ECE regulation R10. It must be installed indoors and must not be placed on an open deck or used for medicine, corrosive substances, or flash freezing of fresh food.
Delivery includes the refrigerator, drain elbow, quick start guide, and installation manual. A finish-matching mounting frame for NRX 80 can be purchased separately as item no. 50.907.07. Documented model accessories include fixing frame 9620012882, black fixing frame 9620012880, replacement shelf 9620012935, freezer compartment 9620012934, and sliding hinge 9620012939.
