This Dometic Oceanair Skyscreen Pleated blind and flyscreen for deck hatches is the Lewmar 60 variant with an internal opening dimension of 507 × 507 mm. The system combines a 100% blackout pleated blind and a pleated flyscreen in one slim cassette for installation on the cabin side of the deck hatch.
The blind blocks out light, while the flyscreen allows for ventilation through an open hatch while simultaneously reducing the entry of insects. When both pleated elements are retracted, the hatch opening remains clear, and the view through the hatch is unobstructed.
The common cassette is manufactured from powder-coated aluminium and is supplied in white RAL 9016. Its low profile limits the impact on headroom. Operation is manual with integrated magnetic handles and magnetic docking, while brush seals contribute to the sealing around the flyscreen.
The system can be surface-mounted onto the cabin interior lining or integrated and concealed within the lining. A separate finish/trim frame consisting of four moulded parts can be ordered as an accessory, but is not included as documented standard equipment.
The variant is manufactured for the Lewmar 60 and is documented for the Lewmar Low Profile Hatch 60 with item no. 19.410.60, the Lewmar Ocean Hatch 60 with item no. 19.420.60, and the Lewmar Flush Hatch 60 with item no. 19.440.60. The specified 507 × 507 mm are the system's internal opening dimensions and not the external dimensions of the cassette.
