Dometic Oceanair SkyScreen Pleated blackout blind with fly screen for boat hatches is a combined solution for the Bomar 1039. The pleated blackout blind and fly screen are integrated into one slim cassette, allowing light control and ventilation to be managed from the same hatch.
The blind provides 100% blackout, while the pleated insect screen allows for cabin ventilation while preventing insects from entering. The system features two separate fabric sections and is manually operated via integrated magnetic handles.
The cassette is manufactured from powder-coated aluminium and has a product depth of 25.2 mm. The compact design minimises the loss of headroom beneath the hatch. Integrated brush seals help keep insects out, and when the sections are retracted, the hatch opening remains clear with an unobstructed view.
This variant is sized for the Bomar 1039 boat hatch with item no. 19.720.05. The documented internal cutout dimension is 514 × 514 mm, corresponding to 20¼ × 20¼ inches. This measurement describes the hatch opening and not the external dimensions of the cassette.
The system can be surface-mounted on the cabin interior lining or recessed so that the cassette is hidden within the lining. The structure is white with colour code RAL 9016.
A separate finishing and recessing frame consisting of four moulded parts can be ordered as an accessory. This item is the standard variant for the Bomar 1039 and is not supplied as a custom size.
