This Dometic Oceanair Skyscreen Pleated blackout blind and flyscreen is a manual combination shade for Lewmar deck hatch size 10. The pleated blackout blind and flyscreen are housed in one slim cassette, allowing for light shading and insect protection to be operated directly at the hatch.
The blind provides 100% blackout, while the pleated flyscreen protects against insects while still allowing for natural ventilation through the open deck hatch. When the screens are stowed, the hatch opening remains clear. Integrated magnetic handles provide manual pull-to-shut operation, and a brush seal reduces gaps where insects can enter.
The construction consists of an ultra-thin, powder-coated aluminum cassette with a depth of 25.2 mm. The slim design limits the loss of headroom in the cabin. The frame is white in RAL 9016, and the internal opening is 260 × 260 mm. At this size, the fabric and crossbar do not obstruct the opening.
The unit can be mounted directly on the interior cabin surface or integrated hidden in the ceiling or headlining. The frame must be mounted square with 90° corners, and all relevant mounting points must be used. The installation instructions specify No. 6 screws, a 3.5 mm pilot hole, and a maximum screw penetration of 6 mm. Manual final tightening is recommended.
The variant is verified for Lewmar Low Profile 10 with item no. 19.410.10 and Lewmar Ocean 10 with item no. 19.420.10. An optional liner or trim frame can be ordered separately for custom integration into the cabin lining.
For cleaning, the blind and screen can be vacuumed or cleaned gently with compressed air and a soft brush. Avoid oil, aggressive chemical cleaners, and hard or abrasive brushing.
