This Dometic Oceanair Skyshade Hatchshade 750 roller blind, model HSH2-70, is a fully retractable blackout blind for marine hatches and windows. This variant has a nominal width of 679 mm, a drop of 700 mm, and a white cassette in RAL 9016.
The blind features Solar White Shield blackout fabric with 100% blackout capability. The fabric is water-resistant and UV-resistant, while the profiled cassette is made of powder-coated aluminium. When not in use, the blind retracts completely into the cassette.
The cassette profile measures 33 mm in depth and 31 mm in height, while the bottom rail is 15 mm high. The total external width is approximately 719 mm. Therefore, please check both the blind dimensions and the available mounting space before installation.
The roller blind is operated manually using a mini-grip handle and can be secured with toggle fasteners. The side retention allows the blind to be held partially open. It can be mounted on vertical or horizontal surfaces, as well as at other angles, and supports both face and top mounting.
The product is intended for boat hatches and windows and is particularly suitable for fixed hatches where a separate insect screen is not required. The blind does not have an integrated insect screen. The model code is HSH2-70, and the white variant is also available under the cross-reference HSH2-70-W-RP, or alternatively HSH270WRP.
