This Dometic Oceanair Skyshade Portshade 320 cassette roller blind is a manual blackout blind for marine portholes, small hatches and small windows. The PSH-4 variant has a fabric width of 660 mm, a drop of 320 mm and a white cassette in RAL 9016.
The 100% blackout fabric rolls completely into the ultra-slim cassette when the blind is not in use. The fabric is heat-reflective, UV-resistant, easy to wipe clean and features a water-repellent coating. If the fabric gets wet, it must be fully extended and allowed to air-dry naturally before being rolled up again.
The blind is operated manually via spring tension and held in the extended position with the Mini Grip catch. The spring return tension can be adjusted at the left-hand end bracket, but must not be overtightened. End caps with an anti-rattle design reduce the risk of noise during sailing.
The aluminium cassette is 20 mm high and 24 mm deep, while the bottom rail is 12.5 mm high. The total blind unit is approximately 702–703 mm wide. An installation area of approximately 703 × 380 mm should be allowed, plus 15 mm clearance above any protruding window frame or trim. For critical installations, the mounting location should always be physically measured.
The cassette can be face- or top-mounted on vertical or horizontal surfaces and is also suitable for curved mounting surfaces. The cassette itself is secured with two screws, while the Mini Grip catch is mounted separately at the blind's base position. For standard face mounting, use a 2 mm pilot hole; when reconfiguring the end brackets for top mounting, use a 1.6 mm pilot hole. Ensure the substrate is sufficiently thick for the chosen screws.
