This Dometic Oceanair Skyshade Portshade 320 blackout roller blind is a manual cassette roller blind for portholes, smaller windows, and hatches on board. The PSH-2 variant has a fabric width of 380 mm and a fabric drop of 280 mm, as well as a white cassette and hardware in RAL 9016.
The 100% blackout Solar White fabric has 0% light transmission and provides both effective darkening and privacy. The fabric is water-resistant, UV-resistant, sun-reflective, and easy to wipe clean. The sun-reflective properties also help reduce solar heat in the boat's interior.
The blind rolls completely into an ultra-slim aluminum cassette when not in use. The cassette is 24 mm deep and 20 mm high, while the bottom rail is 12.5 mm high. Anti-rattle end caps limit noise and vibration in maritime environments.
The cassette can be top-mounted or face-mounted and is secured at the two ends of the cassette. The design can be used on vertical and horizontal surfaces as well as on both flat and curved mounting surfaces. The blind can therefore be placed where the available edge space around the porthole or window is limited.
The specified 380 × 280 mm are the fabric dimensions of the blind and not a guaranteed measurement of the window opening. The total hardware width is approximately 422–423 mm. Therefore, always check the mounting location and the actual measurements before drilling or installing.
