This Dometic Oceanair Skyshade Portshade blackout roller blind is a manual cassette roller blind for smaller portholes, boat windows, and hatches. The PSH-5 variant has a fabric width of 720 mm and a drop of 320 mm, as well as a white cassette in RAL 9016.
The 100% blackout fabric provides privacy and blocks out light. The fabric is water-resistant, UV-resistant, heat-reflective, and easy to wipe clean. The heat-reflective surface also reduces solar heat and helps keep the boat's interior cooler.
The blind rolls into an ultra-slim aluminum cassette that is only 24 mm deep and 20 mm high. The compact profile makes the construction suitable for areas where space around the porthole or window is limited. The bottom rail is 12.5 mm high, and the end caps are designed to minimize rattling and vibrations.
The roller blind can be mounted on vertical or horizontal surfaces and is also suitable for curved mounting surfaces and various mounting angles. It supports both top and face mounting, and the cassette is easily installed with two screws. The cord-free design provides a tidy installation without dangling control cords.
