This Duralene base rail for 40 mm fender profile system is the rigid, underlying rail in a two-part marine fender and rub rail profile. This variant is version C in white and is supplied as a 4 m long rod.
The base rail is mounted on the hull and combined with a separate flexible PVC insert. The two components are assembled to form the complete fender rail. This item includes only the base rail; the PVC insert is not included.
The rail is made of rigid Duralene plastic material. The profile is shatterproof and designed to follow the curve of the hull without wrinkling. Version C has a documented channel height of 40 mm and a system protrusion of 5 mm.
Compatible PVC inserts are available separately in white with item no. 44.040.40, grey with item no. 44.040.50, and black with item no. 44.040.60. The relevant insert must be installed together with the base rail to complete the profile.
Documented finishing and joining accessories include the white ABS end cap with item no. 44.040.01 and the white 40 × 40 mm joint cover cap with item no. 44.042.27.
