Glass-ceramic built-in gas hob The DynaCook X2 mini is a compact gas hob with two cooking zones in a horizontal format. It is designed for cooking on board and can also be installed in motorhomes, caravans, and other leisure vehicles with a suitable gas system and 12 V DC power supply.
The gas burners are located under the glass-ceramic surface, so the flame is protected from wind and ventilated environments. The heat is produced by gas, while the electronic control system uses up to 15 W at 12 V. The low electrical consumption makes it possible to use the hob on boats without a generator, provided the necessary 12 V supply is available.
The black, smooth, and non-porous glass-ceramic surface is designed without protruding burner grates. The hob features electronic ignition, integrated touch control, a digital display, and 18 power levels. Functions include a timer, automatic shut-off, safety lock, visual and acoustic operating indication, as well as a DynaBooster/POWER function for rapid heating.
The small cooking zone is designed for cookware with a diameter of approx. 105–150 mm and provides approx. 1.0–1.2 kW. The medium cooking zone is designed for approx. Ø 130–200 mm and provides approx. 1.4–1.6 kW. The total thermal output is 2.4–2.8 kW.
The hob measures 460 × 280 × 70 mm and requires a countertop cutout of 441 × 261 mm. The gas connection is Ø 8 mm and is located on the left side when viewed from the front. The connection is intended for a 30 mbar LPG system with the gas type specified on the unit's rating plate. The 12 V DC electrical connection must be protected with a 4 A fuse, which is not included.
Installation must be performed by a qualified gas technician with sufficient ventilation and in accordance with the provided manual. Installation requirements include a ventilation opening of at least 150 cm² and a recommended distance of at least 650 mm to any extractor hood. The gas type, gas pressure, and installation conditions must always be checked before connection and cutting.
Dedicated pot holders with manufacturer index 6-004650 can be used to prevent cookware from sliding when the boat is moving. A custom protective cover is available with manufacturer index 6-005109.
