EasyUp telescopic swim platform ladder with automatic handles is a 4-step boarding ladder for mounting on top of a boat's swim platform. The telescopic design provides access between the water and the platform and can be folded into a closed height of 60 mm.
The ladder and the high support handles are mechanically linked. When the ladder is opened, the handles are automatically raised so they are ready to provide support during boarding. When the handles are folded down, the ladder is retracted towards the closed position.
The construction is made of mirror-polished AISI 316 stainless steel. The telescopic sections have tube diameters of 19, 25, 32, and 38 mm, while POM bushings contribute to a smooth and precise telescopic movement. The handles are also equipped with rubber anti-vibration components.
The four steps have an extra-wide tread of 52.5 mm. The ladder measures 1,185 mm when fully extended and 480 mm when closed. The maximum total width is 515 mm, and the deployment angle is 100° in relation to the platform's hinge reference.
Mounting is performed on a suitable horizontal surface on top of the swim platform via two separate hinged mounting plates. The design is marked with a patent pending status.
